| Santa Rosa Memorial Park & Mortuary is the largest cemetery in Sonoma County. It is a park like cemetery situated in northeastern Santa Rosa. Established in 1885, this complete interment facility is operated by the Odd Fellows Cemetery Association of Santa Rosa, a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing and maintaining a memorial cemetery for all families on a non-sectarian basis.
Santa Rosa Memorial Park has grown along with the communities it serves, and is continually expanding both its cemetery and mortuary facilities. Our mortuary opened its doors in 2003 and offers traditional funerals, contemporary tribute services and on-site cremation services in a compassionate, caring environment.
The professional staff at Santa Rosa Memorial Park realizes that everyone is an individual. We encourage and aid you in the creation of a service that reflects the uniqueness of the person being remembered. Choices may vary in music, family memorabilia and atmosphere. What do funeral directors do?
Funeral directors are caregivers and administrators. They make the arrangements to bring your loved one into our care, complete all necessary paperwork, and implement the choices made by the family regarding the funeral and final disposition.
Funeral directors are listeners, advisors and supporters. They have experience assisting the bereaved in coping with death.
Funeral directors are trained to answer questions about grief, recognize when a person is having difficulty coping and recommend sources of professional help.
Funeral directors also link survivors with support groups at the funeral home or in the community.
